Its been long 60 years that political parties playing with people for the votes. As most of the people knows the different mediums like reservation, temple, riots, price hike, subsidies etc.
For coming loksabha election UPA is on roll, as I am sure they already know their chances (and if they don’t than they are just doing Argumentum ad Populum) Here are some of the gimmicks played so far -
Dec 17, 2013 - Rahul Gandhi takes credit for lokpal bill
- The whole nation knows about who was fighting since last 2+ years for lokpal bill, after so many hurdles it was passed in Rajya Sabha and congress shamelessly gave credit to Rahul Gandhi. Is he brain dead or their so called spokes persons have any self-respect left? Every time you see Sanjay Jha or Randeep Surjewala on news channels, they defend and say words in favor or Congress so blindly that makes you think that there is no one out there who tell them the truth and they are living in some kind of virtual world. First of all you block it for almost a year after draft is ready and approved, and then pass it after your defeat in december to win some sympathy.
Jan 17,2014 - Rahul Gandhi demands 12 subsidised LPG cylinders, previous limit was 9. Within few hours wish was fullfilled by gini named Veerappa Moily.
- why its nonsense because its been year people were complaining and the price was hiked and limit was set. After one year and before election they did this to win some votes without thinking of the consequences.

- What in a world he was thinking. Everyone is trying to work on better solution for reservations and empowerment of the community, congress is still busy playing the vote bank politics. Would love to get reaction from jain community what they think about that.

When few days before in times now interview Rahul gandhi mentioned trillion times that system needs to be changed, we need to empower women (which ofcourse my wife is against, as he just took her and all the other women for a ride by keep saying we need to empower the women) and when Janardhan Diwedi suggested a way to change it, they back off because if they do so there is vote compromise. I mean frankly cast based reservation did more damage and than any good to people. When doing so, they keep referring those guys as backward and they expect to deliver same request. Its just way to please people, they should track some real matrix to assess the success of cast based system which is been going on since more than 65 years. Reservation in india is huge subject, and congress is just using them as vote bank at the times of election. As in those reservation are not enough, now by keep saying women empowerment, they might just introduce another reservation for women (as in women is not included in cast based reservation.) What one would conclude that since last 65 years what they did was not enough for women and people of this country, so suddenly they want to do something to empower women. BTW if congress wants to empower woman, get young generation into politics and change the system, they are forgetting few things - They are the one in power for majority of the years, so saying that means they failed doing that. You are in power and you are saying after this many years that you want to change the system, who stopped you from doing that for so many years. If you digg little dipper in to the laws for SC, ST, here is one example - The scheduled caste people cannot ride bicycles or two wheeler in the streets and pathway, where dominant community reside and they should down from the bicycle/two wheeler and pull it on the street by walk. Its utterly shameful that we have still think kind of stuff in our constitution. If you want to give reservation for particular cause to empower a particular cast, group, it has to come with the expiry date so that you can assess the success of it. The thing which started with 10 years of batch, still loitering after 65 year and politicians keep increasing the limit and scope.
Feb 5, 2014 Congress wants anti-communal violence bill
- Here are some points on that debate. Its a good thing to do that, but the only question is why now, and why are both parties fighting about it. If you want to do good, just do it without making noise. If you look at riots data, and good part of the years after independence and in majority of states congress was in power when riots took place at various states and at the time of presenting the bill they are giving Gujarat riots the reason behind it. The sad part is even while listing the riots victims they use the count by Hindus, Muslims or Christians. If you still remember, they are citizens.
