Things AAP should be cautious about

Before you start reading it, I want to express that I would like AAP to succeed and change the politics of india.

So far its been like movie ride, where common man is taking on big heads and succeeding at different front. Who doesn’t like it? Recently after the election results, few things I regularly notice on news channels, twitter and debates which worries me deeply. Its not promises made by Mr. Kejriwal or AAP, its not cold fight triggered by media between Mr. Kejriwal and Anna, its not congress or BJP, its the statements made by Kumar Vishwas and Ankit Lal and few other party folks. You look at their twitter feed its like race to show that they are better than others, instead of showing development and changes which they are bringing which initiates, provokes hate messaging and change perception about the party. (If you don’t trust me compare quick twitter feed of Arvind Kejriwal and Dr. Kumar Vishwas)

Recently I come across this article - AAP leader Kumar Vishwas to fight from Rahul bastion If you read the article, at one point he mentions that he will follow wherever Rahul Gandhi will fight from, and take one more step and also asks Narendra Modi to fight against him. I mean what kind of message you want to pass. What are you trying to prove? What’s AAP’s vision? Bring change or defeat Rahul Gandhi? Are you taking some kind of personal revenge with someone.

I think if you work enough and keep showing progress where people, media already following and tracking each and every step and comparing it with other parties you don’t need to make certain statements. Let your work speak for itself. Making statement like we will take on RG and Modi at the same time, and on top of that saying that will sure win is totally absurd and irresponsible move.

Media is already giving enough attention to AAP (did they shown the oath ceremony of Rajashtan or MP? Did they showed what Vasundhara Raje did on first day? The point is use the attention you are getting in better way rather than showing others are nothing in front of you.) There are few more people who is making random statements and tweeting irresponsible, which will be tough for Mr. Kejriwal or as a party for AAP to defend when people will ask question and you will get into this silly trap of other parties.

I want AAP to succeed, and be humble and kind to all. That is the reason people like them. If you become arrogant and start ignoring others (opposition), there will be no difference between them and you.

Right now its small like startup and easy to keep the messaging concise and near to perfect, as you are going national it will be difficult to control at that time you want the executive committee or founder members to be role model for others. I hope you set good example for followers and other people who wants to join or who wants to see the change.

In the end, I would mention Mr. Kejriwal’s message -

‘आप’ से सार्वजनिक निवेदन कर चुका हूँ, फिर करता हूँ: अपने सात्विक अहंकार से बचें। विनम्र बने रहें। सीखें ज़्यादा,चीख़ें कम। बड़बोले न बनें।
